The 1998 edition of the Football Masters series, this is a full-fleged football (soccer) manager simulation. The player is charged with all aspects of running a football club, from hiring and training players to arranging matches and competing in cups. This is very similar to Football Fanatic, but Football Masters uses graphical menus for most aspects of game management.
Matches are played out in real time, and while the playing field is represented only schematically, it is possible for the player to pause the match at any time and adjust the position of players to change the strategy and tactics.
The limited playable demo of Football Masters allows to play any English or Italian club for three months, with the save/load game function disabled. There can be up to eight human players taking turns, and if you want to play solo, just press Enter when offered to name player two.
